History of the Internet and World Wide Web

A lot of the video went over my head, but I feel like I got the gist of it. I have a hard time understanding intangible things ... but for the most part the video helped me comprehend the background info on the start of the internet. I thought it was really interesting how a lot of the research and innovation was done by grad students and in universities. It also made me feel very allegiant being that it was invented in the USA. The video was humbling in a sense that it makes you feel almost out of control of the rate of technological growth. It reminded me of the Best Buy commercial with young inventors of currently crazy-popular apps and sites. I didn't know that the internet's start was so closely related to telephones and the Cold War; that was interesting to me.
